Introducing the drawing machine - Swing nr.1

This kind of drawing machine is also knows as double pendulum harmonograph. As it is the first drawing machine I have build I found help from a guide made by Stephan Pöhnlein.

The machine comes to life through a combination of wooden, metal, and 3D-printed components.

EXPAND nr.1

Introducing to you the drawing machine - Expand Nr.1

This drawing machine works with simple mechanics that allows two types of movements: expand and contract.The position and the level of contraction and expansion is defined by the position of the wooden disc where the mechanism is attached.

The wooden disc are powered by two stepper motor. Each motor speed can be controlled with a knob(potentiometer). Every change on motor speed will change the motion and therefore the outcome of the drawing.
